These two trainers - Husband and Wife Team, are both top International Standards Dog Trainers - also Accreditation Officers and animal behaviourists.  Both have undergone exhaustive training with us and have gained their standing as senior trainers with distinction.  Garven is our active "Field Officer" and can be contacted through our office via an Email Here or  (See How Do I Apply) link above on the links bar.

These specialist trainers have a thorough understanding of how to deal with The Disabled, as Judith is disabled and Garven being her full time carer.  It is indeed wonderful to have such dedicated and highly talented people with us on our team, we thank them both for that.  With us since 1996.

Rhana Smith is another top International Dog Trainer / Animal Behaviourist - also being a highly recognised Equine Trainer, often working with underprivileged children who would otherwise not have this sort of joy in their lives - feeling the independence of actually riding a horse with freedom and pride!

Again - we are indeed privileged to have this wonderful woman on our team, let go be a Director / Regional Secretary of our company.

Our Founders
Alex and Connie Van Oeveren

Founded February 16th 1994
After years of struggle, through those years when an "Assistance Dog" was not even thought of by so many, Alex and Connie tirelessly fought on through so many obstacles - now Alex being a highly regarded  "Human Rights Legal Advocate" and "Disability Discrimination Legal Advocate".
Now recently graduated as an
"Australian Officer Of Justice & Social Justice"

Connie is also a highly qualified dog trainer, having been through many seminars held by Alex, working beside him for the entire time through Disability Aid Dogs history.

Meet Henri Marchand and Shogun

Henri has been with us since 1996, also a highly gifted dog trainer, having completed our assessment standards and examinations years ago.  Henri is another Accreditation Officer, also highly valued in the organisation.
